New paper out! Improving sleep in adults with sleep difficulties
Ever wondered how your evening meal affects your sleep and energy? 🌙✨
While we often focus on what we eat during the day, the evening meal plays a critical role in how well we sleep and how we feel the next day. In our latest RCT, published in the European Journal of Nutrition, we tested a blend of mulberry leaf extract and tryptophan to improve sleep and next-day mood in adults with sleep difficulties. Using digital tech and wearables, we tracked glucose levels (CGM) and sleep quality in real-world settings, and the results are pretty exciting!
💤 Faster and Better Sleep: Participants fell asleep faster and reported significant improvements in sleep quality.
😊 Improved Mood: Participants woke up feeling more energized and in a better mood.
🍚 More Stable Glucose Levels at Night: The blend reduced postprandial glucose spikes and nocturnal glucose variation, which were associated with better sleep and improved mood the next day.
Our study highlights how balancing blood sugar at night can be a game-changer for both sleep and overall wellbeing, and this blend is already powering innovative products on the market!
