New Bayer paper out! Clinical benefits and safety of Elevit during preconception, pregnancy, and lactation 🤰

Very excited to share our landmark review in Nutrition Reviews, which brings together decades of research on Elevit, the most studied prenatal multiple micronutrient supplement (MMS) worldwide, supported by 30 studies and used by millions of women over 40+ years. For the first time, all this extensive evidence has been consolidated to highlight the clinical benefits and safety of MMS across the entire pregnancy journey: from preconception to pregnancy and lactation

Key findings from nearly 20,000 women across 30 studies:
✅ MMS with 800 µg folic acid is more effective than 400 µg alone, helping women reach protective folate levels faster, which is critical for neural tube closure in the first 4 weeks after conception
✅ Significant reduction in neural tube defects and congenital abnormalities
✅ Beneficial effects on fertility and reduced adverse pregnancy outcomes
✅ Enhanced breastmilk quality and reduced postpartum depression
